POWER FLUSHING SERVICES

Power Flushing Services in Bath

Our qualified Wiltshire-based heating engineers recommend regular power flushing for any home with a central heating system. Over time, sludge, rust, and other debris build up inside radiators and pipes, restricting water flow and reducing efficiency. By having your system power flushed at least every five years, you can improve fuel efficiency, protect against costly breakdowns, and extend the lifespan of your boiler by reducing the strain it’s under.

We provide professional and affordable power flushing services in Bath (BA1 & BA2) as well as across Melksham (SN12), Chippenham (SN14), Corsham (SN13), Swindon (SN1), Westbury (BA13), and Trowbridge (BA14). Our local heating specialists use industry-grade equipment combined with cleaning chemicals to thoroughly clear your system of blockages, ensuring smooth circulation and better heat output throughout your home.

Without this essential service, your central heating system may suffer from cold spots in radiators, noisy pipes, or even premature boiler faults that could lead to expensive replacements. Just like annual servicing, power flushing should be seen as a vital part of your heating maintenance routine, helping to keep your system running reliably, efficiently, and cost-effectively all year round.

Bath HEATING ENGINEERS

Power Flushing Maintanence in Bath

Our Wiltshire-based heating engineers recommend scheduling regular power flushing maintenance as part of your central heating care plan. Over the years, radiators and pipes collect sludge, rust, and other debris that restrict circulation and force your boiler to work harder. By arranging a power flushing every five years, you can keep your system efficient, reduce heating bills, and prevent unnecessary wear and tear on your boiler.

We carry out reliable and affordable power flushing maintenance in Bath (BA1 & BA2) as well as surrounding areas including Melksham (SN12), Chippenham (SN14), Corsham (SN13), Swindon (SN1), Westbury (BA13), and Trowbridge (BA14). Our team uses advanced flushing equipment and chemical cleaners to thoroughly remove build-ups, helping your radiators heat evenly and your boiler run more smoothly.

Neglecting this vital heating system maintenance can lead to cold spots, noisy pipework, poor efficiency, and even costly boiler breakdowns. Just as annual boiler servicing is essential, power flushing maintenance plays a key role in extending the life of your central heating system and keeping your home comfortable throughout the year.

HOW POWER FLUSHING IS DONE

Thorough Power Flushing Process in Bath

When we perform  power flushing in Bath or across north Wiltshire our engineer connects a specialised pumping station to your heating system. First the system is flushed out with plain water, until it washes through clean. We use an agitator tool, similar to a hand drill, that is used to dislodge stubborn deposits of sludge.

In cases of severe sludge contamination we will use a blend of chemicals to flush through the heating system pipework, before flushing the system again with a neutralising fluid. A final flush introduces a fluid to prevent corrosion and delay the build up of more sludge.

All chemicals used in the process are carefully cleared and responsibly disposed of.

Depending on how large the heating system is and the degree of contamination the power flushing could take anywhere from a few hours to a day to complete.

In most cases power flushing is a cost-effective treatment for ailing heating systems and cuts down on wear and tear for hard-working boilers, keeping them healthy for longer.
