Philip Cheeseman started his career in the plumbing and heating industry in 1976 at the age of 16. It was just the start of a long journey and life-long passion for the trade, which he has since passed on to his sons – and various other apprentices he’s mentored over the years.
In 2004 Philip Cheeseman & Sons was created to incorporate the introduction of his two sons, Jamie and Luke into the industry. In 2016 Philip formed the Limited Company and his sons joined as directors, along with his wife Ingrid (a former nurse) as manager and administrator and began to expand his operation.
Today our company boasts nine staff members, including 5 highly qualified professional engineers, grounded by Philip’s extensive experience, skill and knowledge of the industry.
His creed that only work of the highest standard is acceptable, and that each and every job should exceed the customer’s expectations, has turned our local Melksham business into a regional enterprise. Our services are in demand in the city of Bath and major Wiltshire towns like Chippenham, Swindon, Corsham, Westbury and Trowbridge.
We employ only qualified Gas Safe Registered engineers and plumbers, and we all keep up to date with the latest technology – particularly when it comes to renewable energy systems – and health and safety regulations.
We’re pleased to be accredited installers of Britain’s top-rated boiler brands – Worcester Bosch, Vaillant and Viessmann – and have received ongoing training and support in boiler installation and maintenance from these suppliers.
Our expertise is not, however, limited to specific makes and models – we can supply, install, service and repair any type of gas boiler.
We work with numerous landlords and letting agencies across our area of operation, carrying out annual boiler services and gas safety checks in rental properties, issuing Landlord Gas Safety certificates.
Being an established company of high repute we have also been able to secure finance options for new boilers for our customers, so you can affordably invest in the latest energy-saving boilers for your home or business.
